Central Pacific Bank (CPB) donated 500 shirts – valued at roughly $7,000 – to Aloha Medical Mission (AMM). AMM will ship a portion of the shirts to Manila, Philippines, on Wednesday to be distributed by Gen. Charly Holganza to the low-income residents. The rest of the shirts will be given away during future medical missions to the Philippines; the next mission is set for October 2011.
“We commend the work of Aloha Medical Mission and the countless medical volunteers who donate their time to provide free health care to the underserved people throughout the world,” said David Hudson, CPB Senior Vice President and Community Banking Division Manager.
